Fresh Eggs!

Eggs, Photography by Joey Brent

It’s Farmers’ Market time, and each one of our happy hens have been gifting us with one perfect egg a day. That means, after we’ve enjoyed our own fair share of organic, free-range, DHA-enhanced, happy-hen eggs and shared them with family and friends, we still have enough to sell on Saturday mornings at our local market.

Our children have been eager to rise early and set up the stand. They each took a turn at the market, and sold all the eggs in less than two hours. Bonus summer funds for them and a fabulous experience for us all.

Be sure to look for Valley House Farm eggs and produce at the Mid-Town Farmers’ Market. The market is located on the north side of the Mid-town Shopping Center parking lot on North Lamar Boulevard and is open from May-September on Wednesdays (2:30-5:30 pm) and Saturdays (7:00-11:00 am).

Drop by for a chat and maybe you’ll get the lucky Double Yolk!
